A thoughtful friend has since sent a card to the bar, in Mealhouse Brow, to apologise for what happened. The bar shared an image of the card, which also contained a £20 note, on its Instagram account. We wanted to appologies (sic) and offer this tip to the poor member of staff who had to clean up after us. So sorry x." In the Instagram post, The Good Rebel said: "Opened our letterbox to find this letter in the post.
We can all over do the booze from time to time but thank you very much to the group who sent this to us. It’s little gestures like these that make it all worth while." In response, one person commented: "Ah that's so good of them." Another added: "Humanity is alive well." The Good Rebel was opened in Stockport town centre back in 2020.
