Person killed after being struck by train at Lanarkshire station

A person has died after being hit by a train at a Lanarkshire yesterday. Emergency services scrambled to the scene at Cambuslang station after the alarm was raised at around 10.50am on Friday, May 27.

Police and ambulance crews are currently in attendance, following the tragic incident on the Glasgow Central to Motherwell line.
