There is some legitimate criticism of a player who has gone from 10 league goals in first five games of the campaign to two in his next eight.
He has underperformed his expected goals in that latter period and there were also some who did not like him laughing and joking as City lost at Anfield on Sunday to continue their wretched run.
However, most of the Haaland criticism comes from a misunderstanding of (or refusal to accept) either Haaland or Guardiola's team or both.
