Pep Guardiola says Manchester City need their fans to help them over the line this weekend as he turned his frustration away from the scheduling of City's Premier League clash with Newcastle.
City finished their Super Cup win over Sevilla in the early hours of Thursday morning in Greece, and face Newcastle at 8pm on Saturday.
Guardiola sarcastically thanked the Premier League for not allowing them to play on Sunday or Monday in his post-match press conference this week.
With the game selected by TNT Sports, who usually host the Saturday lunchtime slot, it was pushed back to 8pm on Saturday rather than infringe on Sky Sports' Sunday or Monday slots.
