However, since being sidelined, the Blues have coped fairly competently from an attacking point of view, scoring two or more goals in six of their eight matches before the international break.
Impressively they achieved this feat without often even playing a recognised striker, with attackers like Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva tasked with leading the line.
