Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has bizarrely claimed that at one stage this season his side's aim was simply to qualify for next year's Europa League.
City's 2-0 victory against Burnley on Wednesday means they have now won their last nine Premier League games in a row. And they sit three points clear of bitter rivals Manchester United at the top of the table having played a game less.
