The character, who captured hearts with her romance with Colin Firth's Jamie, is played by Ana Lucia Pereira Moniz, an actress of considerable fame in her own right.
Not only did Moniz charm viewers as Aurelia, but she also represented Portugal at the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest. Beyond her role in the timeless Christmas movie, the talented artist has released five music albums.
Now with one week until the big day, TikTok users recently expressed their amazement as they discovered Moniz's Eurovision past in a resurfaced video clip from the contest.
