Christopher Hurn, 28, was first spotted on April 1 sleeping in the garden outside the home in Droylsden, Tameside. The 80-year-old man, who had established a friendship with Hurn and given him money in the past, went to check what he was doing and Hurn asked him to use the toilet, Minshull Street Crown Court heard.
