A pensioner has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Glasgow. Emergency services raced to the scene on Gartloch Road in the Gartcosh area of the city at around 6.40pm on Wednesday, March 9.
The 67-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QUEU) by ambulance. It is not known whether he was injured.
Enquiries to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident remain ongoing. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.40pm on Wednesday, 9 March, officers were called to a report of a man struck by a vehicle on Gartloch Road, Glasgow.
