A pensioner has been arrested in connection with the alleged 'gunshot' death of Brian Low in Aberfeldy. The 65-year-old was allegedly gunned down while walking his dog on a remote path near the Perth and Kinross town on Saturday, February 17.
His body was discovered by a member of the public in the Pitllie area and he was pronounced dead at the scene.His black Labrador was found safe and well by his side.
More than three months on, officers from Police Scotland have confirmed a 75-year-old man has been arrested in connection. He is currently in police custody and is being questioned by detectives from the Major Investigation Team.
Police Scotland initially treated Brian's death as "medical or non-suspicious", but it later became a 'murder investigation' when a post-mortem examination established he was allegedly killed by a "fatal gunshot".Local residents were not told of the nature of his death until 10 days after his body was discovered.
