Penny Lancaster couldn't be happier after finding her calling as a police officer as she has a "new lease of life". The Loose Women panellist has moved away from the world of modelling to pursue a career in the police force.
The 52-year-old, who is married to Rod Stewart, admits the change of career as been good for her as she takes on her new role as a special constable.
The mother-of-two recently celebrated with the City of London Police which marked the official completion of her training alongside her Maggie May singer hubby.
Penny hasn't had the chance to ease herself into the new role slowly, but was instead thrown in the deep end as she worked tirelessly over the Queens funeral, reports the Mirror.Penny took part in the huge logistics of the Queen's funeral, as she manned the barriers near Queen Victoria's Memorial where she made sure the public remained safe during the procession and offered advice about exiting the Mall.
