She said the first time she met her she was shy, but that Meryl was affectionate so she reciprocated. She said she had a very embarrassing moment with Meryl. She said she was doing a play in New York and was shocked when she saw Meryl in the lobby.
Then Meryl walked up to her in the lobby afterwards and told her she was wonderful in the play.'I literally didn't know how to function,' said Jessica of being awestruck by the legendary actress.
