Pauline Chalamet opened up about Renee Rapp‘s departure from The Sex Lives of College Girls.
The 24-year-old Mean Girls actress played Leighton Murray on the hit MAX series. However, she announced plans to move on from the show in July 2023.
The first episodes of the third season premiered earlier this month, revealing how she was written out of the story. In a recent interview, Pauline reflected on losing her castmate and what it meant for the show and its plot moving forward. Keep reading to find out more… “It’s bittersweet, because her character’s obviously great, [but without Rapp’s character, Leighton,] it just gave the writers even more avenues to explore,” Pauline told Nylon, noting that the show now had even more room to explore.
