United failed to score for a fourth consecutive game in another toothless attacking performance, allowing the Hammers to win comfortably.
Alejandro Garnacho missed a golden chance in the first half and Rasmus Hojlund was on the fringes of the match before being hooked in the 54th minute.
The £72million summer signing has now gone 14 Premier League matches without scoring while Garnacho and Antony have just one league goal this season between them.
