Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has revealed how talks with Sir Alex Ferguson helped revive his career after he had become a 'liability' in midfield.
In the early stages of his career Scholes played in an advanced midfield role, but he admits his game suffered because his focus was too heavy on trying to score goals.
