The actor, who also starred in Harry Potter, has sadly died at the age of 54 after battling a brain tumour. He was best known for playing patriarch Martin Goodman in the Channel 4 comedy series, and he once spoke about how he got into the role.
Paul appeared topless in a number of scenes and revealed in an interview given back in 2020 that he would avoid sweet treats and alcohol to stay in shape for the role.
