New details are emerging about Paul Reubens‘ death. The Pee-Wee Herman actor passed away at the age of 70 on July 30, 2023.
His newly released death certificate includes information about what led to the tragic loss and the star’s final resting place. Keep reading to find out more… According to The Blast, Paul‘s death was attributed to a type of blood cancer know as acute myelogenous leukemia.
He died from what is likely a complication of the illness that is known as acute hypoxic respiratory failure, which means that his body was unable to get enough oxygen from the respiratory system. Paul‘s estate confirmed that he had “bravely and privately fought cancer for years with his trademark tenacity and wit” in a statement released while confirming his death.
After being cremated, Paul‘s final resting place will be alongside the likes of Charlie Chaplin and Mickey Rooney in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
