Paul O'Grady fans have been left in tears as the late comedian's final TV appearance aired following his death last year. Paul died aged 67 from sudden cardiac arrhythmia in March 2023.
The comedian's final series of ITV1's Great Elephant Adventures aired on Sunday 7th April, which saw Paul visit Thailand's biggest wildlife hospital and communicate with elephants in Laos.
Emotional fans took to social media throughout the episode to share how Paul's appearance had affected them. "Just 28 minutes (ads excluded) left of the last piece to camera Paul made and I'm here for every minute," one wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Another said: "I still can't believe he's not here. What a wonderful man he was. "Even the Elephants knew just how special Paul was and the empathy he had for animals and it's a special memory that, thankfully, they'll never forget," one viewer tweeted.
