Paul McCartney gets drenched as he hits the beach in St Barts with wife Nancy

Beatles icon Paul McCartney tore through the waves as he took a dip to cool off with his wife Nancy. The celebrity couple were keeping their cool in the sizzling temperatures rising on the beach in St Barts where they were holidaying this week.

Paul, 78, peeled off his holiday shorts and T-shirt to slip into a wetsuit for an afternoon in the sea with his wife Nancy, 61.

His long tresses were dripping wet when he later emerged from the sea and walked along on the beach. Equally cool, Nancy looked glamorous in a minidress paired with a cute straw sunhat.

They have been soaking up the Caribbean sunshine for around a week now. Temperatures have rocketed to around 26 degrees in St Barts this week.
