Patty Jenkins Dishes On 'Wonder Woman 3' & Why Fans Will Be Waiting A While

Patty Jenkins is opening up about a possible third film in the Wonder Woman franchise, just as Wonder Woman 1984 is set to premiere next week.

Speaking with the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the director admitted that there is a plot in mind for the third film but she says not to hold your breath about when or if it will come anytime soon. “It’s interesting, I actually came up with a story, and Geoff Johns and I beat out an entire story for Wonder Woman 3 that we were super fired up about, but I’ve never felt this way before as much as I do now,” Patty explained.

She adds that she isn’t sure if she’d return for it. “I don’t think I’m doing it next and so I have to sort of wait and see where we are in the world, you know?
