Ten Hag, 52, was officially unveiled as the new United manager at the start of the week and faces the huge task of rebuilding the side in his first transfer window.
The Dutchman will not only need to find the right players to improve his squad this summer, but he will also need to make sure they have the right personality to embrace the work ethic he is looking to implement at the club. "When he brings one player to the club, [he must make sure] they’re not coming for the money, they’re not coming to become famous, but they are coming here to fight for the badge.
That, for me, will be one of his most important things.” Evra also spoke of the importance Ten Hag's first pre-season tour will have on his settling in process at the club and how crucial it will be to establish a level of trust with his side straight away.
