Manchester Airport has shared a 'fantastic' service for Jet2 passengers which could help them beat queues. Staff shortages and long queues at airport security have caused significant issues for travellers at the airport in recent weeks, and even resulted in holidaymakers missing their flights.
While bosses said the hub was 'on the road to recovery', passengers are still being asked to arrive three hours before their flight.
On Thursday, the airport issued advice to those travelling with Jet2. It offered a way for passengers to spend less time queuing on their departure day. Twilight check-in is back with @jet2tweets. This fantastic service means you can drop your bags off at the airport the evening before your departure from Manchester Airport." The service, which is also offered at other airports, means people flying before midday can drop bags off between 3-8pm the day before, the Liverpool Echo reports.
