A man was critically injured following a road crash in Ayrshire at the weekend.The passenger was involved in a one-vehicle accident near Annbank in South Ayrshire.Around 6.05pm on Sunday, 26 November, police received a report of the crash on the B742.Emergency services attended and the passenger of the car, a 34-year-old man, was taken to hospital where his condition is described as critical.The 42-year-old driver of the car, a blue VW Up, was uninjured.The road was closed to allow collision investigators access to the location for further investigation.A 42-year-old man was arrested and released pending further enquiries.Sergeant Chris Hoggans said: “I am appealing to anyone who was travelling on the road around the time of the crash to contact us with any information they may have.
If anyone has dash cam footage, please check the images.
