Academy Award winner Charles B Wessler, whose past releases include Dumb and Dumber as well as There’s Something About Mary, is at the heart of the project.
Filming started in May as the club missed out on promotion to the top flight via the play-offs and will go on throughout this coming season as the Jags launch a tilt at the Championship title.
While a TV crew was not inside the dressing room during the pressure of the play-offs in May as introductions were made, Record Sport understands it will happen during this campaign.
