Paris Hilton has expressed her devastation after her music video set was hit by a trailer fire, leaving numerous personal items destroyed.Posting on Instagram, the 43 year old heiress gave fans a glimpse into the aftermath as she revisited the damaged trailer for the first time, revealing that she had lost "gorgeous custom outfits" and an assortment of valuables in what she described as a "disgusting" blaze. The fire occurred amidst preparations for Hilton's upcoming second album.

Set to be unveiled on September 6, 'Infinite Icon' marks her return to the music scene after her 2006 debut LP 'Paris'.In an emotional caption, Hilton wrote: "Assessing the damages after yesterday's fire.

It's heart breaking to see so many of my favourite things destroyed.""All of the gorgeous custom outfits that we had made for the music video, designer couture outfits, all my favourite sunglasses, shoes, handbags, jewellery, computers, cameras, phones, and so much more.""But thankfully everyone is safe and okay and that's all that matters.

Here's hoping day two of filming Bad Bitch Academy is a little less lit. Clearly this #InfiniteIcon era is hot."During a video showing the charred remains of the trailer, Hilton lamented over the collapsed roof and said it "looks like a war zone".She disclosed to her followers: "A lot of you are asking about the fire yesterday, so I just came back to where it all happened, because I did not get to go in here yesterday.""This is insane, it smells so bad.
