Parents risk fines if they keep children off when schools reopen on March 8

Either way, the government has made it clear that attendance will be 'mandatory' and parents will have a legal duty to secure their child's attendance at school.Schools also have the ability to issue sanctions, including fixed penalty notices, in line with local authorities’ codes of.
