A charity has issued a warning about Cadbury's Mini Eggs, a popular Easter treat for children. The Child Accident Prevention Trust says these chocolates are the perfect size to block a small child's airway and cause choking.
They also say that the hard shell of the Mini Eggs can make them difficult to remove with regular first aid techniques. The charity suggests cutting up grapes to reduce the risk of choking, but the hard shell of Mini Eggs makes this difficult.
Instead, they recommend putting the Mini Eggs in a sealable plastic bag and smashing them into small pieces, crushing them with a pestle and mortar, or giving children a large hollow egg instead, Lancs Live reports. Try MEN Premium now for FREE...
