The Year 6 pupil was sent home to isolate along with the rest of his class from Irk Valley Community School in Crumpsall earlier this month.

After being told to get a PCR test for their son they did so immediately and the youngster tested positive, leaving him isolating until today, Friday - meaning he misses his leavers trip to Chill Factore and missed out on a meal at the Al Maidah restaurant on Wednesday.
