Paisley commuters could be heavily impacted by potential rail staff strikes in the coming weeks. Scotrail drivers could walk out on strike after rejecting a pay offer from bosses last week, as their union ASLEF told it failed to take into account the rising cost of living.It comes just weeks after the transport firm was taken over by the Scottish Government.But the now-nationalised Scotrail say they have been left with "no option but to consider action in response" to the latest pay offer.
Despite customer numbers reportedly one third below pre-covid levels, Scotrail say, train users from all over Renfrewshire could face significantly more disruption than other areas.
