A pervert who arranged to meet who he thought was a 14-year-old girl for unprotected sex - and then claimed to police that his phone had been hacked - has been jailed.
Martin Waite, 31, thought he was talking to a teenage girl online and made plans to meet up with her, 'put his hands down his pants' and have sex.
When he turned up at the location in Preston, he quickly fled after being confronted by a paedophile hunter group. But he still sent the girl's account messages while on the run and was later arrested at a nearby garage.
Waite had previously sent a series of Facebook and WhatsApp messages to the girl, which included him asking for naked pictures and sending ones of himself, reports LancsLive.
