Paddy McGuinness has given fans an insight into his birthday celebrations as he marks a milestone. The Top Gear presenter is turning 50 today (August 14) and has spent the weekend celebrating with his family and friends.

The Bolton-born TV star has taken to social media over the last few days with a string of photos to give his 2 million followers a glimpse of how he is marking the occasion.

Paddy kicked off his early birthday celebrations with a party with his nearest and dearest, before celebrating Line of Duty actress Vicky McClure's wedding.

The dad-of-three shared a series of photos from the weekend which featured him toasting the milestone in front of a 50 balloon, a birthday cake and a picture of him posing alongside friends.
