Paddy McGuinness detailed the disastrous day he faced before his children left him in tears over the sweet gesture. The Bolton-born star took to social media on Valentine's Day to reveal who was sending him love on the special annual day following his split from his wife Christine.

The former couple confirmed their separation on July 22, 2022, issuing a joint statement which they shared on social media. They said at the time that they had earlier taken the "difficult decision to separate" and that it wa "not an easy decision" but added: "We’re moving forward as the best parents we can be for our three beautiful children." Despite their split, Paddy, 50 and Christine, 35, have continued to live together in their Cheshire home for the sake of their children - twins Penelope and Leo and their youngest daughter Felicity - all three of whom have been diagnosed with autism.
