Paddy McGuinness has confessed that he turned down a TV job because it required him to strip naked on camera. The star of Take Me Out, 50, was offered a role on ITV's The Real Fully Monty, where celebrities bare all for charity, but declined when he realised he'd have to get undressed on screen. "They told me all about it and I told them, 'Yep, I'll do that,'" he shared with the Sun. "And they were like, 'Er, you will have to get your c**k out' and I said, 'Hang on a minute, no one wants to see that'." Paddy, who has three children with his ex-wife Christine McGuinness, admitted that he was put off by the memory of Keith Chegwin's appearance on Naked Jungle in 2002, as reported by The Mirror.

Despite Paddy's refusal, The Real Fully Monty, hosted by Alexander Armstrong and Diversity's Ashley Banjo, has been a hit since its 2017 debut, boasting high ratings and nine specials.

It comes after Paddy recently shared that he's hitting the road again for a tour because he's run out of money after parting ways with his wife Christine. The couple are thought to be going through a divorce, and Paddy's earnings have taken a hit after the BBC decided to drop Top Gear, which he co-hosted in 2019.

This month, Paddy announced his new stand-up tour, set to take place in 2024 and 2025, and he's been popping up on TV to promote the new show.
