Paddy McGuinness has been left utterly astonished by the staggering sum he's managed to raise for BBC Children in Need, thanks to a sponsored bike ride.The Radio 2 host, 51, embarked on an epic cycling challenge to gather donations for the charity, which dedicates its efforts to bettering the lives of disadvantaged children across the UK.
Paddy cycled through three countries and eight counties in just one week, clocking up over 300 miles. His intense effort paid off massively, as he's raked in millions for the cause, reports the Mirror.
By Friday (15 November), the tally had soared past £8 million, and it kept climbing even after the annual Children in Need broadcast that evening.
On his Sunday BBC Radio 2 show, Paddy was thrilled to announce the total had surpassed £9 million, expressing his amazement at the ever-growing figure.
