Paddy McGuinness has received a message of support from another top celebrity as he continues on with his charity cycle ride this week.
The Bolton TV star is currently making the 300-mile journey from Wrexham AFC to Glasgow on a Raleigh Chopper as part of his Ultra Endurance Cycle Challenge for Children in Need.
The 51-year-old broke down in tears on Wednesday morning (November 13) as BBC Radio 2 host Zoe Ball revealed to him that his efforts had led to more than £1m in donations - and, in the 24 hours since, the total has now surpassed more than £3m. Wow, I keep saying this because it’s the strangest thing, I’m absolutely in bits physically and emotionally but I will miss this, I will miss this positivity, this feeling of love that everyone’s getting behind Children in Need.” Whilst talking to Zoe, the presenter also shared a number of messages of support from friends and family, as well as fellow Bolton comedian Peter Kay.
