Paddy Doherty has been rushed back to hospital and given oxygen less than three weeks after battling Covid-19. The My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding star struggled to breathe in a Facebook post uploaded on Saturday morning, in which he told followers and friends he was back in hospital because of the damage caused by the deadly virus.

Coughing and wheezing as he fought for breath, the 62-year-old Celebrity Big Brother winner explained: "I'll be out in the morning.

Just be careful everyone. I'm worse than a cat. A cat's got seven lives, I've got 100 lives." Taking oxygen from a machine at the Countess of Chester Hospital, the TV personality added: "Catch you all later.
