‘Paatal Lok’ Season 2 Sets January Launch on Prime Video (EXCLUSIVE)
variety.comNaman Ramachandran Prime Video will debut the second season of hit Indian crime series “Paatal Lok” in January. The neo-noir drama, which explores India’s social hierarchies through a criminal justice lens, returns with lead actors Jaideep Ahlawat, Ishwak Singh and Gul Panag, joined by new cast members Tillotama Shome, Nagesh Kukunoor and Jahnu Barua.
The eight-episode season is produced by Clean Slate Filmz and Eunoia Films LLP, with Sudip Sharma returning as creator and executive producer.
Avinash Arun Dhaware directs. The new season follows Ahlawat’s character Hathi Ram Chaudhary and his team as they navigate fresh challenges.
Sharma, who also serves as showrunner, said: “The overwhelming response to the first season filled me with immense gratitude and inspired me to craft stories that are raw, relatable, and intensely gripping.
