John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, actor and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which he adopted the nickname "The Prince of Darkness".
Osbourne was fired from the band in 1979 due to alcohol and drug problems, but he went on to have a successful solo career, releasing eleven studio albums, the first seven of which were all awarded multi-platinum certifications in the United States. Osbourne has since reunited with Black Sabbath on several occasions.
Ozzy Osbourne and wife Sharon are set for a big life change after deciding to move back to the UK from Los Angeles. The famous couple have lived primarily in America over the past couple of decades with their children, Aimee, 38, Kelly, 37, and Jack, 36, also creating lives for themselves Stateside.
However, the spate of mass shootings across the country have become a cause for concern for the Osbournes, who are now planning a move back to their homeland in England.
Ozzy, 73, and Sharon, 69, – who married in 1982 – are proud owners of 120-year-old Grade II listed property, Welders House, in Buckinghamshire which is where they’ll be shipping their belongings back to.
Sharing his despair at how his adopted country has changed, the Black Sabbath rocker said: ‘Everything’s f****** ridiculous there.
