Owners of 'truly unique' grocery store and canteen announce closure in heart-breaking statement

Bernie’s Grocery Store started life in 2020 in Heaton Moor with a focus on responsible sourcing and sustainability. Run by Will France and Bethan Roberts, previously of Pollen and Wolfhouse Kitchen, the venue was an initial success and led to the opening of a second venue on Central Way in Altrincham.
In 2022, it was announced that the original Heaton Moor store would be closing its doors following the increased rise in costs.
