Barry Frost was left with 'significant injuries' to his arm and foot after being bitten by the Pitbull/Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross in Wigan last year.
The dog, named Oscar, has since been castrated and owner Keith Grundy was hauled before the courts. After pleading guilty to being the owner or person in charge of a dog dangerously out of control and causing injury, the 59-year-old appeared at Bolton Crown Court yesterday (Tuesday, May 11) to be sentenced.
