Lauren Coates Reality dating series “Ready to Love” will return for its Season 10 season, the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) announced on Wednesday.
Hosted by comedian and actor Thomas “Nephew Tommy” Miles, the series will gather a new cast of 20 singles in Philadelphia as they couple up and compete in challenges on their journey to find love. “This season, we’re on a mission to find singles in Philadelphia who are serious candidates for meaningful, real connections that are both healthy and productive – in leading to love and happiness,” said Miles in a statement. “Watching these singles turn the City of Brotherly Love into the city of romantic love is one of the best joys I can imagine.” “Ready to Love” ranked as the top-rated cable program in its time period with African-American women for the seventh consecutive year, according to OWN. “Ready to Love’ reigns as my longest-running television series, and with 7 successful relationships over the course of 10 seasons, with a few babies and ‘I Dos’ sprinkled along the way, we are the most successful Black dating experience in all of television,” said producer Will Packer.
The tenth season of “Ready to Love” begins Friday, Feb. 7 at 8 p.m. ET with episodes airing weekly. “Ready to Love” is produced for OWN by Will Packer Media and Lighthearted Entertainment.
Will Packer is executive producer. Will Packer Media’s Kelly Smith, Lighthearted’s Rob LaPlante and Jeff Spangler also executive produce, along with Anthony Sylvester.
