Match of the Day pundit Alan Shearer has challenged Manchester United's players to maintain the level of the performance they produced in Sunday's 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield to "prove this was not a one-off".

However, head coach Ruben Amorim got the reaction he was looking for, watching United serve up their best showing of his tenure thus far.
After taking the lead through Lisandro Martinez, United looked as though they were going to be beaten when goals from Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah swung the game in the home side's favour.
