A total of 13,160 children across South Lanarkshire have benefited from the Scottish Child Payment since it was introduced.Now available to all eligible children under 16, a total of £9,409,345 has been paid out since the scheme’s introduction in February 2021.
The Scottish Child Payment is unique to Scotland and is projected to lift around 50,000 children out of poverty in 2023/24. The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
