Outlander actor Sam Heughan has raised a whopping £590,000 for charity this year, with the help of his organisation My Peak Challenge, which he founded in 2017.
Fellow members - known as Peakers - set themselves a challenge, physical or otherwise, in a bid to raise cash. Between filming Outlander and running a very successful whisky business, Sam always makes sure he finds the time to work out with My Peak Challenge.And since the organisation began, they have raised around $6.9m (£5.8m) for good causes.
This year alone, Peakers have raised over $711k (£592k) and planted 607,000 trees. A delighted Sam took to Instagram to share the great news with his fans, writing: "$6.9M raised for chosen charities!
