Outlander star Sam Heughan gushes over working with Celine Dion in new rom-com 'Text For You'

Sam Heughan has praised the 'incredible' Celine Dion as she makes her acting debut in his upcoming rom-com Text For You. The 41-year-old Scots actor is best known for playing Highland warrior Jamie Fraser in the Outlander series, alongside Caitriona Balfe as his on-screen wife Claire Fraser.

Sam, originally from Dumfries, is set to star alongside Bollywood legend Priyanka Chopra, who recently welcomed a baby via surrogate with husband Nick Jonas.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Heughan was asked about working with Dion: “It’s her acting debut, what an icon.“She’s incredible, but she’s not only in the movie and she’s really good and extremely funny, but she’s also supplying the music for the movie.“She’s written a song especially for us.”He was asked by a viewer what the “kookiest” thing she did on set was, but couldn’t think of anything.Andy Cohen chimes in: "She is a kook, but in the best way."Brooke Shields also agrees, saying: "She's a good mom and she is a good human being."Heughan insisted, “She was amazing, honestly.”Sam gushes about the upcoming rom-com: "I can't wait for you guys to see it.
