The next instalment of the show is set to differ from the books slightly but the changes have been given the stamp of approval from Outlander author Diana Gabaldon.
Diana gave the new season a glowing review during a promotion for her latest project, Go Tell The Bees That I Am Gone, which is the tenth Outlander story. She also revealed she had written a script for programme makers, which was scrapped and pushed back for season seven. The author said last November, during a Penguin Random House event for the new book: “The first episode is absolutely spectacular.
