Outlander's Sam Heughan has looked back on his 'disastrous' Mamma Mia! audition as he hoped for a part in the movie before bagging the role of Jamie Fraser.
Before landing the role of the Highlander heartthrob in 2014, Sam had starred in various shows such as A Very British Sex Scandal, River City, The Wild West and Party Animals.
However, many fans of the actor may not know that he actually auditioned for the role of Dominic Cooper’s Sky in the hit musical movie Mamma Mia!At the time of him auditioning for the movie which came out in 2008, Heughan was also starring in Noel Coward’s The Vortex, which meant his facial hair was styled in a 1920s moustache.However, aside from the moustache, it didn't seem like Mamma Mia!
