Outlander star Graham McTavish took to social media to tell fans he is 'so proud' to be apart of the new Game of Thrones show House Of The Dragon.
The Glasgow born actor, who is best known for his roles as Dougal MacKenzie in Outlander and Dwalin in The Hobbit film trilogy, is starring in the highly anticipated HBO prequel.
Taking to Instagram after the show premiered, he wrote: "What a night! So proud to be a part of this great show". Graham, 61, has a key role in the follow-up to Game of Thrones, which is set centuries before the current GOT timeline and will focus on a burgeoning civil war between Daenerys Targaryen’s ancestors.
The New Zealand-based actor is playing Ser Harrold Westerling, one of the main figures involved in the growing tensions between the two Targaryen factions in his role as the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard under King Viserys I.
