Outlander bosses have shared a never before seen clip of Outlander author and creator Diana Gabaldon on the season 7 set earlier this year.We're midway through season seven, and as the show takes a break, the official Twitter account shared some behind the scenes footage of Diana during filming.The 71-year-old explains: "Here I am back in Scotland and it's not raining, which is a good thing."It's such a pleasure to be back on set at last, I haven't been for many years now."It's especially exciting to see all of the new castings."Everybody is absolutely fabulous, I especially like Rachel an her brother Denny, of course, but also Charles Vandervaart who's playing William."Praising Charles - who joined the historical drama as William in season 7 - she said: "He is absolutely wonderful - it took a long time to find him, but when I saw his audition I was thinking: 'Yep that's him.
You got him.'"She ends the clip by teasing fans stating: "It's nice to talk to you. I'm going to go and have a chat with Sam and Caitriona."Starz captioned the exciting video: "Oh to be a fly on the wall during a @Writer_DG, @samheughan and @caitrionambalfe convo. #Outlander (previously recorded).
