he Oscars is finally taking place tonight after months of delays. It's the 93rd Academy Awards, and unlike many other ceremonies this year, the event won't be virtual.
This year’s ceremony will be unlike any other in Academy Awards history, with multiple locations in Los Angeles (the Dolby Theatre and Union Station) as well as hub venues in London and Paris because of the coronavirus pandemic.
It will mean we will see stars walk the red carpet once again. The ceremony starts tonight in Los Angeles at 8pm, meaning if you want to watch live from the UK you'll have to be up in the early hours.
The action will begin at 1am UK time, and will run until 4-5am, so film fans are in for a late night!The 2021 Oscars will be shown on American channel.
